The Voice is a great show to get the exposure needed to name within the music industry. Gabriel Broussard is a singer-songwriter who knew he wanted to be involved with the music industry at a very young age. It all started when Gabriel went to Festival International de Louisiane. He got to see all the artists perform from all over the world; pour their heart and soul into the music. it was an inspiring music show that sparked a flame in Gabriel, giving him the ambition and passion for pursuing music as his dream career. A few years later, Gabriel auditioned for the hit TV show competition, season 11 of The Voice. At the age of 15, he had the opportunity to choose between two judges, Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus. After both judges had the chance to state why either was the best coach for him, Gabriel ultimately chose Blake to become his coach throughout the rest of his time on the show. He impressed the judges with his voice, which led him to make it through to the knockout rounds. Though his time on the show ended there, it was only the beginning of his career.
After the competition, Gabriel has worked on other projects throughout the years but has recently released a new single called "Haven." It's a song that finding God's presence through prayer. The sweet sound of Gabriel's voice slides through every note and gives the song the soul it needs to portray the lyrics correctly. Finding a song that provides people with an outlet to find faith in is essential. With his soul-pop genre, Gabriel mentions he wants to create music that is "authentic" and intends to release at least two or three more songs this year. His overall goal is to be signed as a songwriter and continue to release music in his own time. Now that there seems to be some sense of normalcy entering our lives, his main hope is to get back to the stage to perform once again for an audience.
