I've written about this artist previously in the past, I am excited to share the progress that I've seen her make as time has progressed. Lily Forte is an upcoming artist who lives in Florida and is seriously taking her music to the next level with every new single being released. Now she's bringing something fresh to the table with her official debut EP, "Losing the Illusion," which has hit the socials and streaming services. Along with her producer/friend, Dylan Thomas, Lily has worked endlessly to create an authentic EP that gives you the feels in all in her music. Now, with the EP coming our way, we'll be able to get a glimpse of what is to come in the months ahead. When I first met Lily, she had initially released her single "Loose Fitting Levi's." It caught me entirely off guard seeing how talented and dedicated this young artist is and how focused she is in becoming successful in her budding music career.
The Loose Fitting Levi's artist had gone through some serious growing pains in order to nurture these songs into what they are now. Lily calls it "letting go and allowing growth to change her." I like being able to see an artists' work progress throughout time. It shows that they can grow and expand their craft, which is essential for an audience. Choosing the right songs that made the cut for the EP didn't come without its own set of struggles. Pouring all of her heart into her work takes a lot of guts, and choosing the right six songs for the EP was another critical decision to make. After some time, both Dylan and Lily were able to narrow it down from nine originally, down to their recommended choice of six songs. This, however, is not the only project that's underway; there will also be a live performance video of all six songs as well.
I'm stoked to see where this artist takes her career. She's still young and has accomplished many outstanding achievements.
