Meet an Arizona Star in the Making.

Updated: Apr 6, 2021

If there is anything positive we can take from this past year, it is the fact that we can all be so thankful for the technology we have and how it has kept us all connected. It gives people a chance to still network, work, create, and improve in their craft. In Phoenix, Arizona, this artist is no different. Meet Ashley Wineland. An Arizona native taking her career by storm to become a booming artist in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Ashley first started singing ten years ago. She remembers always having a love for performing, as she has loved the performing arts since her adolescent years. With pursuing her music dream, Ashley is also earning her degree in Film and Media Studies from Arizona State University. What better way to fully know the business than to learn about producing and filming her own work?

There have been some great successes over the years as well. Now, a CMT artist, she has her music videos promoted on the CMT Television network. It gives her a chance to show her craft and what she's made of. Throughout time, Ashley has been working, traveling to Nashville and back to Phoenix to grow and create the authentic sound that her fans have loved for quite some time. Now, with working on her latest album that will be released later this year, I'm excited to follow along on her music journey and see where it takes her. The world is at her boots, and she's got the talent to take it all the way to the top! Ashley also says she is looking forward to "expanding my community with fans." Her career is only just taking off, as she already has quite the following.

I got the chance to listen to her latest single, "I'm Gonna Ride," that came out in January. What I love so much about this song is hearing the storytelling portrayed in the lyrics. It's all about connecting with the audience and giving them a piece of art that is relatable to them and their memories. This song definitely has a sense of girl power when talking about "riding across the desert" and just living the life she wants to live. If you like a good country twang that makes you want to dust off the boots, throw your cowgirl hat on and ride, then I suggest listening to her work. I'll link Ashley's website, Spotify, and Instagram below. As a fellow Arizonan, it's inspiring to see a local really make a name for herself in the music business.
