I got to meet two new owners of an up-and-coming management service in Nashville, Tenn. John LeDew and Maria Herrera have known each other since their adolescent years. The whole dream started with an idea back in July 2020 on a whiteboard. The two visited Target at 12:00 am to brainstorm ideas on the concept of creating a management service that could help struggling artists with building their brand and sound. As an artist, it can get pretty pricey when trying to find a studio for recording, find a PR team that will help in branding, all while creating a precise sound that the artist wants to portray to their audience. Evergreen Entertainment goes above and beyond when giving the artist total freedom in what they want their music to say, sound, and how often the artist intends to produce new music.
While both individuals own the management service, John runs artist management while Maria is the PR head. With both brilliant minds thinking together, nothing will stop this company from becoming a primary hot service all indie artists will want to work with. Honesty, integrity, and transparency are the key, and this company stands out in those categories. Evergreen Entertainment has some big dreams in the works. Their short-term goals include "learning what their capacity is, how many people they can help." With reaching and growing with new artists, they also want to establish specific genres they want to work with. Their main genres of focus are Folk, Alternative, and pop.
Maria and John both mention they "want to be passionate about the genre so they can give the best service to each artist they work with." In the long-term future, as their brand progresses, a long-term goal is to host an event where artists will be able to network and build their brand with the help of Evergreen. Building a community where the artist feels safe and heard is not taken lightly with this team. I look forward to watching their successes as time moves forward.
